Waterside Chiropractic Updates

Waterside Chiropractic Christmas Closing 2023/24 and Chiropractic Treatment Prices 2024

Christmas Closing 2023/24

Waterside Chiropractic will be closed for the Christmas break from close of business on Friday 15th December 2023 through until Monday 8th January 2024 inclusive, reopening on Tuesday 9th January 2024.

Appointments for emergencies during this period will be available for existing patients and clients; however please note that these will be charged at the emergency/out of hours/weekend rates, please see the Waterside Chiropractic website for further details.

If you think that you or your animal may need chiropractic treatment before we re-open in the New Year, there are still some (but not very many!) appointments available before the 15th December, so please do get in touch.

Waterside Chiropractic Treatment Prices 2024

Due to the ever increasing costs following all the cost of living increases/inflation/shrinkflation over the last few years, I am unable to hold the current prices for a further year. Unfortunately I now have no option but to increase my prices from January 2024. Prices for all chiropractic treatment (human/equine/canine) will be increasing in 2024 by £5 per appointment.

Equine travel charges will also remain the same as for 2023. There is a mileage charge for for those journeys to yards located over 10 miles away from the farm postcode. Equine travel charges to yards within 10 miles of the farm postcode continue to be free from charge.

Waterside Chiropractic Clinic Protocol - Human and Animal 2023/24

Waterside Chiropractic open to all new Human and Animal Patients from 2023

HUMAN CHIROPRACTIC – updated 21st November 2022 – For some time the Clinic has only been open for existing human patients of the Practice. This was due to the reduced number of appointments that were available (there were fewer appointments available during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic as time needed to be left to carry out cleaning and infection control procedures between patients) and to ensure that those patients already registered with the practice were able to access an appointment if needed.

As of January 2023, Waterside Chiropractic will be open to new human patients.Given that the Practice has a large number of existing patients which have to take priority, it should be noted that there will be a limited number of new human patient appointments available each month. This will depend entirely on diary availability at the time.

ANIMAL CHIROPRACTIC – updated 21st November 2022 – Waterside Chiropractic has been open for all animal assessment and treatment as of 11th May 2020, to include both new and existing animal patients, provided that risk assessments indicated that the COVID-19 risk was assessed as low and clinic and treatment protocols were able to be followed by all involved.

COVID-19, influenza and other respiratory viruses will be with us for many years to come. Thankfully, for most this is now a less serious condition, although for a few (like influenza has always been) can be much more of a problem for some. Appointments missed or cancelled without 24hrs notice are normally charged for at the full cost, except for COVID-19 or other health associated reasons. If you feel unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19/Influenza/other respiratory or infectious disease, please do cancel your appointment.

Best wishes to you all.
